When we get your referral from your spinal consultant we will send you an appointment letter and information leaflet. This is for us to meet at clinic where we make a cast of your body – the casting appointment.
At the casting appointment we discuss the type of brace that is best for your condition. We show you brace examples and check whether you want a picture on it. It takes about 45 minutes for this appointment. The cast of your body is used to make your brace.
