Idiopathic Scoliosis

The word idiopathic just means no known cause. For a small number of you there will be someone in your family who had scoliosis before you, there is some genetic link.

These are some typical x-rays before and after surgery.

The information below is about the length of stay and sometimes patients need to go to intensive/ critical care.
