Postural braces

Thanks to our patients and their families for consenting to these photos and videos being published.

Your brace will be unique to you. It will be designed for your spinal curve, the aim of your brace and your abilities. You get to choose a transfer or keep it plain white.

A postural brace aims to improve trunk support which can provide better head/neck control and use of your arms and hands. It is most helpful when sitting but it can also be used in a standing frame or walker. Our postural braces can be one piece, which wraps around your body and fastens at the front, or two-piece, which has a back and front section with fastens at each side. A postural brace can accommodate feeding pegs and any other health needs.

We advise you to wear your brace during the day. If you are in bed, lying down or getting therapy, you can remove your brace.
