If you think you are pregnant, you can either buy a home pregnancy testing kit from a pharmacy or supermarket, or ask your GP.
Home pregnancy testing kits are very accurate and there is usually no need for further testing.
Your Pregnancy Test is Positive – What Next?
Now that you know you are pregnant, the first thing you should do is call us on 0131 536 2009 to arrange an appointment with a midwife.
Or if you are unsure about continuing with the pregnancy, you should call or visit your GP or local sexual health clinic as soon as possible for advice and support. More information and advice can be found on the Lothian Sexual Health website.
