The Digital Revascularisation Heart Manual
Expanding upon the Birmingham Rehabilitation Uptake Maximisation Study (BRUM) randomised controlled trial and success of the Heart Manual Revascularisation edition, the latest development of this programme is now available in digital format.
Designed to be initiated within the first week of a revascularisation procedure at a time when many patients feel most vulnerable, the Digital Revascularisation Heart Manual offers patients this highly evidenced cardiac rehabilitation programme and relaxation resource online.
Both healthcare practitioners and patient representatives rated the usability of the resource highly and found the design of the website easy to navigate and enabled easy access to the content. Importantly, we found the digital resource does not require a major change in facilitators working practice. The relaxation programme is also available in an App (Android and Apple). Search ‘HM Relax’ in the app store.
