During 2016 the Heart Manual department established a successful collaboration with a group of former patients plus current health professionals from across the UK, in the development and evaluation of the digital Heart Manual.
As a notable experience for all involved, we formalised the use of a public involvement group for future heart manual department related activities.
This group now meets three times a year, however, most of the correspondence (and homework!) is communicated by e-mail. The service values the contributions of the members of the group and sincerely welcomes their thoughts and input.
