Results of Your Test
Receiving the Results from Your Test
Once you send your poo sample in the post, you will be sent a letter with the results of the test within 14 days. If everything looks OK, then you will not have to do the test again for 2 years.
Further Tests Required
If there is blood in your poo, then you might need to go to hospital for more tests. A nurse will phone you to talk to you about your result and to let you know if you need to go for more tests or not.

Further Tests
Colonoscopy
If you have been told that you need to attend the hospital for a further test, this is called a colonoscopy. You can find more information on the Further Tests page.
