How to Access?
You must be referred to the service by a health care professional, such as you GP, district nurse, physiotherapist, or hospital consultant. On receipt of referral, a letter will be sent out inviting you to phone in and make an appointment.
How long will you wait?
Waiting time for your first appointment is approximately 6 weeks.
Your first appointment, what to expect?
- This will last approximately 1 hour and involves questions about your condition
- We will need to examine your swollen area. You may want to bring shorts if you are having your legs examined
