Physio@Home Service

Who we are?  What we do?

We are a Physiotherapy team, who specialise in assessment and rehabilitation in your own home or homely setting. 

You may have been in hospital or you may be experiencing chronic pain.  Or you may have lost confidence in doing the things you enjoy like getting around the house or out and about socially.   We can help you to achieve your personal goals.

Allermuir Health Centre, 165 Colinton Mains Drive, Edinburgh, EH13 9AF

Physio@Home North
Pennywell All Care Centre, 1 MacMillan Crescent, Edinburgh, EH4 4WL

Tel: 312 2160 – you can speak to us between 0830-1030, outwith these hours you can leave a message for us.

How to Access?

Your GP or a Health / Social Care professional can refer you to Physio@Home. 

If you think you need a walking aid, to help move around the house or outdoors, you can refer yourself using our Walking aid self referral form.

How long will you Wait?

You will receive a letter, once you are on our waiting list.  Our waiting times vary and we aim to see you at home within 12 weeks.  If you have a more urgent need, you will be seen sooner. 

Your first appointment, what to expect? 

You will be contacted by one of our team to book a home visit.  Our first visit may take up to 1 hour.

A member of our team will visit you at home to have a chat about what matters to you.   It would be helpful to have a think about the things that are important to you, so that we can help you to set your own personal goals.
