2021 Meeting Programme

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 restrictions we are not able to continue with our regular monthly meetings. However, we are now planning to hold monthly meetings over Zoom until May.

Meeting Summaries

26 January 2021Alan Gray of Health All Round, an Edinburgh based Community Health Project, after giving a short summary of the objectives of the Project, spoke about the health advantages of activity and exercise more generally.  He invited members of the Group to assess their own levels of activity/exercise and to identify in discussion their experiences,  both successes and barriers.  He also outlined the various online programmes operated by Heath All Round suggesting that members may wish to try some of these.  The relevant links are

Future Meetings (all over Zoom)

15 April: This is an extra meeting which will include a presentation from Professor James Chalmers of NHS Tayside. This presentation is the same one he gave to the European Lung Federation bronchiectasis patient conference in late February. It deals will latest developments in bronchiectasis research. 29 April An open discussion on vaccinations and vaccination passports.

20 May (Note – Changed date) Likely to be presentation of chest physiotherapy.
