Your hearing aids are ready to use and designed to automatically adjust to your sound environment.
PARTS OF HEARING AID
- Battery Door: this is where the battery is inserted. Opening it turns off the device, while closing it turns it on.
- Volume Button: this button can be used for manual adjustments, changing volume levels. You may be given separate instructions to show you what your hearing aid can do.
- Program Button: this button can be used for manually switching programs. You may be given separate instructions to show you what your hearing aid can do.
- Slim Tube: this tube delivers sound from the hearing aid to the ear. There is a dome on the end that fits into your ear canal.
- Retention Wire: helps keep the hearing aid in place.
- Hook: if you require an ear mould, the hook connects the hearing aid device to the tubing and ear mould.
- Earmould: Custom-fitted to your ear.

Tip: Always turn off your hearing aids when you are not using them to extend battery life. When not in use, store your hearing aids in a dry, safe place.
