If you have been referred to DCN neuropsychology you may be offered an initial 20-minute triage appointment. This will be an opportunity to speak to a member of our team to talk about any difficulties you may be experiencing relating to your neurological condition.
The triage appointment will allow us to plan the most appropriate next step in your care. This is not a treatment appointment as such, but an initial discussion to ensure you receive the right input, from the right person, as quickly as possible.
At the current time, all triage appointments are conducted over the telephone. You will receive a triage appointment letter in the post with further information about this appointment including:
- The time of the telephone call
- The clinician you will be speaking to
- An information leaflet about the service
