We work with people who have experienced some form of neurological change or event.
This includes people who have, or have had:

- Functional Neurological Disorders (FND)
- Traumatic Brain Injury
- Stroke
- Subarachnoid Haemorrhage (SAH)
- Brain Tumor
- Epilepsy
- Multiple Sclerosis (MS)
- Huntingdon’s Disease (HD)
- Parkinson’s Disease (PD)
- Other conditions affecting the nervous system
These different conditions can affect people physically, emotionally, and cognitively, thereby impacting their quality of life. In neuropsychology, we work with people individually and also in groups to provide emotional and cognitive support. Additionally, we also provide informational, psychoeducational, and emotional support to the family and carers of these individuals.
The neuropsychology service works as part of a larger multidisciplinary team (MDT) that consists of doctors, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, speech and language therapists, rehabilitation coordinators, social workers, and dietitians.
See our other pages for more information about mood and adjustment, cognition (thinking abilities) and our group work.
