I am a Clinical Research Nurse Manager in NHS Lothian, with a background in Critical Care Nursing. I lead several teams of Clinical Research Staff, across different specialties and have a strategic role within the management team. My role is promarily a management and leadership role at present.

Initially, I studied Busines Studies at University of Edinburgh before becoming a Commercial Manager for a large corporation. I moved into nursing in 2005. studying at University of Dundee. I was awarded and Early Clinical Career Fellowship and completed an MSc in Advanced practice in 2014. By the time this was finished, I had moved into Clinical Research Nursing and joined NHS Lothian (from NHS Tayside) in 2016.

Neuroprogressive and dementai and Infectious diseases are my interests, having taken over the line management of these teams in 2023.
