This clinical trial looks to try different medications to see if they can slow down or stop Parkinson’s Disease symptoms from getting worse.

What Happens In This Study?

In this study, we test several different medications at the same time, while everyone keeps taking their usual Parkinson’s medication. Each treatment is given to a different group and compared with a placebo, which is a dummy drug with no active treatment.

Can I Join This Study?

To take part in this medical trial, you must meet these 7 requirements:

1. Your Diagnosis: A doctor must have confirmed that you have Parkinson’s Disease.
2. Your Age: You are between 30 years old or older. There is no upper age limit.
3. Your Current Medicine: You must have been taking Parkinson’s medication (containing levodopa) for at least the last 2 months without making any big changes to it.
4. Your Symptoms: Your Parkinson’s Disease symptoms should be mild to moderate. A doctor will be able to assess your symptom severity.
5. Your Permission: You must be able to understand what happens in the study and sign a form (called informed consent) to say you agree to join.
6. Your Time: You must do your best to attend all your study visits, and follow the rules of the study until it ends.
7. Taking the Medicine: You must be willing and able to swallow the trial medication.

Study Length: 165 weeks (3 years and 1 month)

Number of appointments: 10 visits, plus check in phone calls
