I am a Consultant Neurologist in NHS Fife and a Senior Clinical Research Fellow at the University of Edinburgh. I run cognitive and movement disorder clinics in Fife, and my research focuses on vascular cognitive impairment and Alzheimer’s disease.

Having completed neurology training in South East Scotland, I undertook a fellowship in Cognitive and Movement Disorders at the University of Toronto, before returning to Scotland in 2023 to take up a consultant post.

My main research focus is on early phase dementia trials, and on the interplay between vascular cognitive impairment and Alzheimer’s disease.

I run young onset cognitive neurology, movement disorders and general neurology clinics in Fife.
