Brandt-Daroff

Brandt-Daroff exercises are used for the treatment of Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo.

RIE Audiology Department Balance Rehabilitation Clinic

First move your head 45 degrees to the left. Then quickly move from position 1 to position 2, lying on the right, head should remain turned 45 degrees to the left.

Stay in this position for 30 secs or 30 secs after the dizziness has passed.

Sit up (position 3)

Stay in this position for 30 secs or 30 secs after dizziness has passed.

Move your head 45 degrees to the right. Quickly move into position 4, lying on your left side, head should be turned 45 degrees to the right
