How do I make a referral?
Contact your GP and ask them to refer the resident to Psychiatry of Old Age through SCI-Gateway. The referrals are then triaged to the appropriate team and we will aim to make contact within a week of receiving the referral. If there is already a CPN involved with the resident then discuss with them whether a referral to the Behaviour Support Services would be appropriate.
