The NHS Antimicrobial Resistance and Healthcare Associated Infection (ARHAI) team in Scotland have launched a Winter Preparedness Campaign .
This contains information such as how to prepare for a potential outbreak; essential communications with staff and visitors if they are feeling unwell to help prevent a potential outbreak; and reflective discussions to learn from previous outbreaks.
New resources were released yesterday as a part of this campaign, please see the email from ARHAI below.

As part of the Winter Preparedness campaign, a suite of new resources is now available to support staff communication and engagement. These include Norovirus and Respiratory posters, and Microsoft Teams digital assets for local use.
We would appreciate your support in sharing and displaying these materials across your areas of responsibility, and in encouraging teams to make use of them where appropriate.
The aim is to reinforce consistent messaging and promote good practice throughout the winter season.
These resources have been added to the Care Home Outbreak Boxon the Outbreaks: Prevention, testing and management of common illnesses and infections webpage on this Care Homes website/
