Changes to Hearing Aid Services – More Face-to-Face Appointments!
To provide better care and ensure your hearing aids are serviced correctly, we are moving to more in-person appointments. This means:
- No more postal and drop box hearing aids servicing, repairs, tubing, or batteries.
- All hearing aid maintenance will now take place in person.
- Batteries can be collected from your local library.
- Drop boxes will be removed.
Why are we making this change?
- Direct patient engagement ensures better hearing aid performance and support.
- Patient centred care and best practises are managed through in-person appointments.
- Patients may experience delays and lost items with postal services.
What does this mean for you?
- You will have your hearing aids assessed and serviced by a member of the Audiology team during a face-to-face visit.
- Any necessary adjustments or repairs will be done immediately where possible.
- You can collect your hearing aid batteries conveniently from selected libraries.
