Changes to Hearing Aid Services – More Face-to-Face Appointments!

To provide better care and ensure your hearing aids are serviced correctly, we are moving to more in-person appointments. This means:

  • No more postal and drop box hearing aids servicing, repairs, tubing, or batteries.
  • All hearing aid maintenance will now take place in person.
  • Batteries can be collected from your local library.
  • Drop boxes will be removed.

Why are we making this change?

  • Direct patient engagement ensures better hearing aid performance and support.
  • Patient centred care and best practises are managed through in-person appointments.
  • Patients may experience delays and lost items with postal services.

What does this mean for you?

  • You will have your hearing aids assessed and serviced by a member of the Audiology team during a face-to-face visit.
  • Any necessary adjustments or repairs will be done immediately where possible.
  • You can collect your hearing aid batteries conveniently from selected libraries.
