Will my Remaining Eye get Tired?

Eye Looking Upwards

Another popular misconception is that someone who has had an eye removed, and now only has one, will have to have periods of “resting” their remaining eye.

Having an eye removed does not mean that the remaining eye will have to “work twice as hard” to compensate. Watching television and reading will not “strain” the remaining eye either. You will not experience headaches just because you only have one eye.

You may hear, or have heard these stories related – they are not true.
