Groups/ Classes:
Our appointments are mainly private one to one appointments, however for pregnancy related musculoskeletal pains and post-natal abdominal issues, you may be seen in a small group setting in either of our two classes.
Your body in Pregnancy Class (YBIP) – this class runs most weeks to provide information and support if you are suffering pelvic pain or other pregnancy related musculoskeletal issues. The class lasts 1 hour and can have up to 7 patients. You will be asked to make an individual appointment with a physiotherapist if it is felt appropriate after the class. If you do not think you can manage a group environment, please let the receptionist know when making your appointment.
Postnatal abdominal Group (PNAG) – This class runs every 6 weeks to support women who may have experienced significant stretching of the connective tissue between the two muscles that run down your abdomen. If you do not think you can manage a group environment, please let the receptionist know when making your appointment. You may be offered more support in an individual appointment if necessary.
