The Scottish Liver Transplant Unit is a national service based at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh, Little France. This Unit is allied to the Centre for Liver and Digestive Disorders in University Hospitals Division of NHS Lothian.
The aim of this site is to provide information for Patients and NHS Staff about the services provided within the Unit.
On the 10th February 2017, the Scottish Liver Transplant Unit at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh marked the 1,500th Liver transplant.
This service is commissioned by the National Services Division of National Services Scotland.
