The DCN building is on the south west side of the Edinburgh BioQuarter development, a shared space with the Royal Hospital for Children and Young People and the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh in the south west of the city.

DCN Scans: The neuroimaging department is on the ground floor of the RHYCP / DCN building. There are additional MRI and angiographic units on the first floor close to ward 130, but you should attend for any outpatient scans through the reception on the ground floor first.
CRIC / EIF Scans: We also use the University scanners for some NHS work – please check your appointment letter carefully. These are also on the RIE site, with the entrance points indicated on the black and white map below.
