The urology department has a hub and spoke system, the hub is based at the Western General Hospital , with several consultants have clinical commitments to spoke units at Borders General Hospital in Melrose, St. Johns Hospital in Livingston and Roodlands in Haddington.
We have clear subspecialisation within our unit to deliver the highest quality of care and all consultants provide general urology expertise within their timetable.
Urology Research projects:
Camera Uroflowmetry: A small scale study to investigate the potential for use of a camera to accurately document uroflowmetry parameters.
