The Florence Nightingale Foundation (FNF) is a charity that support nurses and midwives to improve care and save lives. The Foundation’s principal focus is on improving health, clinical outcomes and patient experience, through building nursing and midwifery leadership capacity and capability.
NHS Lothian has become a member of the Florence Nightingale Foundation Academy, which offers a range of CPD and leadership development resources that are open to all registered nurses and midwives. As a member of the FNF Academy we receive FNF News, which includes events and CPD opportunity updates. You can find details about joining the FNF Academy on the NHS Lothian FNF Intranet site.
FNF also offers excellent leadership scholarship opportunities every year and we actively encourage our nurses and midwives in NHS Lothian to apply for them.
