We will now be seeing patients by video using NearMe. This is a confidential and secure way of having video call meetings.
Please note that staff will only be available at your appointment time or if you have been sent a Consult Now link.
We will contact you with a date and time for an appointment.
You need to have a phone, tablet, laptop or PC with speakers and a microphone and use Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge or Safari.
Using NearMe
You need to be in a private place with access to wifi or phone data.
When you are in the waiting room you will not use up your data.
The video call will use the same amount of data as a Skype® or FaceTime® call.
Below are screen shots of what NearMe looks like when you sign into it. There are 8 screens that you need to go through, screen 2 will ask you for some information that you need to enter.
NearMe now has a consult now option
This means a member of the team can send you a link which you click on to join.
