Wound Clinic

Every Thursday
10.30am to 1.30pm
@ The Exchange Lady Lawson Street

This clinic is run by Specialist Nurses. It is a drop in service – no referral or appointment is required.

The clinic offers a confidential service for people with concerns about injecting sites or skin damage from drug use.

The clinic offers wound and injecting injuries assessment and advice, together with treatment including leg ulcer assessment and compression therapy. 

The wound care team have led a campaign called ‘Below the Belt’ to raise awareness of damage caused by injecting below the waist. View the ‘Below the Belt’ Poster

We also offer injecting injuries training, usually four times a year based at Spittal St. For more information about training contact loth.woundcaretraining@nhs.scot
