Treatments and Services

We are licensed by the Human Fertilisation & Embryology Authority (HFEA) to carry out a comprehensive list of treatments. Treatment plans vary between couples and our team of doctors, nurses and scientists will tailor this to your individual needs.

Fertility Investigations

To determine the cause of infertility and subsequent planning of appropriate treatment, a series of investigations will be carried out for you and your partner.

Intrauterine Insemination (IUI)

One of the most simple and least invasive of fertility treatments.

In Vitro Fertilisation (IVF)

An egg fertilised outside the body is now used widely as a fertility treatment when the sperm sample is normal.

Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI)

Similar to IVF, except that a single sperm is injected directly into the egg rather than simply mixing sperm and eggs.

Preimplantation Genetic Testing (PGT)

Designed for couples who are at risk of having a child with a specific genetic condition or chromosomal disorder.

Surgical Sperm Retrieval (SSR)

An operation under general anaesthetic to obtain sperm directly from the testicles or surrounding ducts.

Fertility Preservation: Sperm Freezing

The freezing of sperm by Cryopreservation in order to preserve it for future use.

Counselling

The service offers emotional support before, during or after, what can be a stressful time. Often it is helpful to simply talk through the treatment and look at options for the future with support and understanding.
