Success rates
Explore the impressive success rates at the Edinburgh Fertility Centre, where our dedicated team is committed to turning dreams into reality. Beyond statistics, we focus on delivering exceptional outcomes, guiding individuals and couples toward a successful journey to parenthood.
Several factors can affect the chances of success, including the cause of infertility, the response of the patient to the drug treatment, with the key factor being the age of the patient at the time of egg collection. For women over 40, the chances of success are reduced. Even if the initial pregnancy test is positive, there is still a considerable risk of early miscarriage. There is usually a drop-in pregnancy rate for women who commence treatment after the age of 35.
