Refund policy
Occasionally treatment cycles are cancelled due to a variety of reasons. From the time you accept a date for your initial pre-treatment scan, you are financially committed to the cost of the IVF cycle. Payment must be made prior to the commencement of treatment. If you decide to cancel after treatment has commenced, no refund will be provided.
If you proceed to egg recovery and no egg is retrieved, no eggs fertilise normally or there is no embryo suitable to transfer, you will not be entitled to a refund. If you are self-funding your treatment, it is important to consider the financial as well as emotional implication(s) of treatment before booking your treatment.
On occasions you may be advised to discontinue treatment due to e.g., poor, or excessive response to the treatment drugs, or a co-incidental development of some other condition during treatment. If this occurs a partial refund as outlined below may be offered.
If EFC makes a clinical decision to freeze all your embryos in an IVF or ICSI cycle, your first frozen embryo transfer and associated HRT medication (if required) will be free of charge. Please be aware that there will be no refund associated with the fresh cycle.
All refunds will be processed after the clinical team have reviewed your medical record. In the event of an unexpected interruption to our services which is out with our control, your treatment may have to be cancelled. In this case you will be entitled to a full refund.
