Standards for Nursing Education
The Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) set out new standards in 2018 for pre-registration Nursing education.
These updated standards set out new roles and responsibilities for those supporting pre-registration nursing students undertaking practice learning.
All registered nurses need to be aware of the standards and how they impact on their role in supporting pre – registration nursing students, whilst they undertake practice learning, in any environment, including care homes.
