Diabetes Education for Health and Social Care Staff

The purpose of this page is to provide essential information and learning in an easy to navigate manner for different staff groups working in social care across Lothian Health and Social Care Partnerships

An A-Z of NHS Lothian Diabetes Care

A series of education modules is available to to develop essential knowledge and understanding of diabetes care and management in Primary, Secondary and Community care settings.

These modules were designed for designed for NHS Lothian staff – Registered Nurses and some Healthcare Support Workers . The full programme of videos and core learning is essential for RNs within NHS Lothian to meet required diabetes learning needs and competencies.
