The Urology Pelvic Health Physiotherapy Service helps people who are experiencing any urinary continence issues.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This also includes people who have a problem with their pelvis or pelvic floor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Referrals into our service are only accepted from the Urology Team.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Therefore you need to be under the care of a Urology Consultant.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>

Bladder or gynaecological problems<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Many women suffer from bladder and gynaecological problems. Physiotherapy and minor lifestyle changes can help reduce symptoms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Female pelvic pain<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

There are many different causes of pelvic pain such as illness, infection, scarring after surgery (with or without mesh), a physical or psychological problem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Male Urinary Symptoms<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Men can experience bladder, bowel, sexual problems and pelvic pain.

Robot Assisted Radical Prostatectomy Surgery (RARP<\/strong>)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

We treat patients who are on the waiting list for or who have previously had robotic assisted radical prostatectomy surgery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Difficulties with bladder emptying (voiding dysfunction)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Voiding dysfunction, also known as urinary retention, is the inability to voluntarily pass urine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
