They support unpaid carers who live in East Lothian or who care for someone living in East Lothian.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>CoEL\u2019s services include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Information and advice tailored to the individual\u2019s needs and caring situation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Practical and emotional support, provided on a one-to-one or group basis<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Income maximisation, including assistance with benefit applications and welfare rights<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Access to short breaks from caring and grants<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Training and events<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Peer group support<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Counselling service<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Support to participate in the planning and development of services.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>You can contact CoEL directly by telephone, by email or via the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.coel.org.uk\/contact-us\/online-referral-form\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">referral form<\/a>&nbsp;on the website to ask for support for yourself or for someone else.
