Lothians to unpaid carers of people with progressive neurological conditions such as<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Multiple Sclerosis<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Huntington\u2019s Disease<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Multiple System Atrophy<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Parkinson\u2019s Disease<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The support provided may include helping carers to access respite or breaks from care, or services that may help their physical, emotional and financial wellbeing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Carer Support Officer can offer information to carers about different types of support available from local authority and charitable organisations.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This may include how to access an Adult Carer Support Plan from the council or signposting to your local carers centre.\u00a0 Carers can access support from this service by directly contacting Kirsty Shaw (via the Edinburgh Carer
