Visiting times<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Family and friends are welcome to visit the unit during open visiting hours.  The ward runs a therapeutic group programme and set mealtimes, so we would ask that any visits are arranged out with these times. Open times are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Monday \u2013 Friday 7 \u2013 8pm<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Weekends \u2013 3.45 \u2013 4.45pm and 7 \u2013 8pm<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Patients book rooms for visits ahead of time so it helpful for them to know in advance who is visiting and when.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There is flexibility for patients on bed rest, visitors travelling long distances and patients with young children. We ask that the patient and families speak with the team regarding their needs and the team will do their best to accommodate without compromising the patient\u2019s treatment programme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Supper<\/td>8:45pm until 9.05pm<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

 THE WARD OPERATES A PROTECTED MEALTIME POLICY<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This means that we ask any appointments or visits are made out with mealtimes. Visitors will be asked to leave the ward during mealtimes to ensure patient dignity, safety and security are maintained.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
