We understand the delicate nature of clinical photographs. As a minimum we ask if these photographs can be taken&nbsp;for your personal health record.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If your&nbsp;photographs would be useful for teaching new nurses, doctors and other health care professionals we would&nbsp;discuss this with you.&nbsp;Sometimes photographs can help with research publications and patient information. If you were happy to agree to this, you would be asked to sign the consent options for each. If your pictures were to be used in this way your face would be masked and you would not be recognisable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is best for your record that these are taken, but it is your right to refuse any of these requests for photographs. It is also your right to change your mind at any point.
