If you decide to have a brace, the orthotists and surgeons work with you to make your personal treatment plan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A spinal brace is prescribed for a number possible reasons. (1) To slow your spinal curve to prevent the need for you to have an operation \/ surgery. (2) To slow your spinal curve to delay an operation \/ surgery until you are older. (3) Help with your posture. (4) Help any pain your spinal curve causes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Wearing a brace can avoid an operation \/ surgery. We will let you know if this might work for you. It depends on things like your age, if there is a cause for your spine curve and how bad the curve is.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Overall, we want to make your outcome of your treatment the best we can.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Orthotics Team<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Orthotists are registered healthcare professionals who specialise in the assessment of biomedical problems. Our Orthotists are supported by a team of Orthotic Rehabilitation Technicians.
