The Team<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

We are the Scottish Lithotriptor Centre or SLC. We have been treating stones for patients from all over Scotland since 1987. We are a team of urologists with a special interest in stone disease, specialist radiographers, specialist radiologists and nurses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Where we are<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The SLC is located on the Ground Floor of the Anne Ferguson Building at the Western General Hospital. It is signposted \u201cScottish Lithotriptor Centre \/ Nurse Urology Unit.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The SLC is open Mon to Thurs 8:00am to 4pm and Fri 8:00am to 2:30pm. Our phone number is 0131 537 1602. Out with these hours an answerphone service is provided but messages will not be picked up until the next working day.
If you are unwell or have a medical emergency please contact your GP, GP out of hours or NHS 24. Do NOT leave an answerphone message.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Please enter via the Crewe Road South entrance to the Western General Hospital.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

By Bus<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The Western General Hospital is between Crewe Road South and Telford<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Road in the Craigleith area of Edinburgh. The hospital is well served by<\/p>\n\n\n\n

public transport. At the time of writing, bus services that go past the Western are: 19, 24, 29, 37, 38, 47, 113<\/strong>. However, services are subject to change. For up-to-date information about routes and times, please contact Traveline Scotland 0870 608 2608<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

By Car<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

If you are using a sat-nav our postcode is EH4 2XU. Parking is limited on site. The closest public car parks are Carparks 1 and 2, located at the Crewe Road South entrance. Disabled parking is available for blue badge holders at Car Park 11.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
