Radiology is a central and essential part of modern medicine. We work with the teams looking after you who have requested tests to image parts of your body to help answer a clinical question.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There are lots of different ways we can do this imaging, some using X-rays, magnets or ultrasound. You may also come to our department to have specialised image-guided procedures (for example a biopsy, joint injection or vessel imaging) which can help diagnose, treat and monitor conditions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This site contains information on coming for imaging<\/a>, including what the scans involve and where the scans happen<\/a>, how to arrange tests requested by your GP<\/a>, information on how and when you can get your results<\/a>, as well as dedicated patient information letters<\/a> relating to tests and scans we perform.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
