It supports the delivery of alcohol brief interventions and the management of alcohol related problems in the GP setting.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">We achieve this through&nbsp;<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Supporting the Lothian enhanced services for drug dependence, hepatitis C, and&nbsp;alcohol brief interventions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Developing, publishing and disseminating good practice guidance.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Training, education and workforce development.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Policy development, service improvement and strategic planning.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Audit and evaluation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Drugs, Alcohol and Blood Borne Viruses PCFT &ndash; What we do The team is non-patient facing with a clinical governance and training role supporting healthcare staff in primary care and the community.
