I am a Senior Clinical Studies Officer within NHS Lothian\u2019s Neuroprogressive and Dementia Network. In this role, I support the delivery of high-quality clinical research for people living with neurodegenerative conditions and facilitating access to innovative research opportunities across Lothian.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I hold a BSc (Hons) in Neuroscience from the University of Dundee (2012) and qualified as a Registered Nurse with an Adult Nursing degree in 2016. I began my clinical research career in the Clinical Research Facility, where I developed a solid foundation in research delivery before progressing into specialised research roles across Neurosurgery, Stroke and Critical Care. Building on my strong commitment to advancing clinical research, I completed an MSc in Clinical Trials at the University of Edinburgh in 2021.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My research interests centre on widening access to high-quality research opportunities for people living with neurodegenerative conditions across NHS Lothian. I am passionate about championing the value of clinical research and fostering a culture where its importance in improving outcomes and shaping future care is widely understood. I am committed to embedding research within routine clinical practice, ensuring that every patient has the opportunity to participate.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
