NHS Lothian Neuroprogressive and Dementia Network (NDN)
The Neuroprogressive and Dementia Network (NDN) Research Team in Scotland is a multidisciplinary group of researchers, clinicians, and experts who are focused on improving the understanding, diagnosis, and treatment of neurodegenerative conditions. Our research team facilitates clinical trial research aiming to develop new and effective interventions for individuals living with these conditions, as well as to advance the knowledge and understanding of the mechanisms underlying these diseases.
The NDN Research Team collaborates with a range of individuals, including people living with dementia, caregivers, and healthcare professionals, to ensure that their research is grounded in the needs and experiences of those affected by neurodegenerative conditions. We also work closely with other research organizations, both nationally and internationally, to share knowledge, expertise, and resources.
