The University of Bristol are delighted to announce they have reached their recruitment target of 600 participants for the CHIEF-PD (CHolinesterase Inhibitor to prEvent Falls in Parkinson’s
Disease) trial. This makes the trial the largest CTIMP of a novel drug in Parkinson’s in the UK!
NHS Lothian managed to recruit our site target, randomizing 11 participants in only three months thanks to the continuous efforts of our staff, including Maria Dewar as study lead. We look forward to seeing the results published in the future.
