{"id":671,"date":"2024-07-26T13:25:00","date_gmt":"2024-07-26T12:25:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/services.nhslothian.scot\/neonatalunit\/?page_id=671"},"modified":"2024-07-26T13:34:06","modified_gmt":"2024-07-26T12:34:06","slug":"meet-the-team","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/services.nhslothian.scot\/neonatalunit\/simpsons\/meet-the-team\/","title":{"rendered":"Meet the Team"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>The Simpsons\u2019 NICU<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To help you identify staff members from our team, a notice board is visible near the entrance of NICU with all our photos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Consultant Neonatologists are available 24\/7 on the unit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We have a team of paediatric medical staff consisting of Consultant Neonatologists, Advanced Neonatal Nurse Practitioners, Registrars and Senior House Officers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our specialist nursing team consists of Nurse Manager, Senior Nursing Sisters, Neonatal Nurses, Neonatal Nursery Nurses, Practice Development Nurses, and Community Nurses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dietitians, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, &nbsp;Speech and Language Therapists, Pharmacists, psychotherapist and Social Workers all come to NICU as part of the multi-disciplinary team. We also have Student Nurses and Midwives on placements as part of their training.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you need to access your named consultant, then you can do so by requesting this via the nurse
