This is a confidential phone-line for anyone in Scotland&nbsp;over the age of 16, who is feeling low, anxious, or depressed. You can also visit <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/breathingspace.scot\/\" target=\"_blank\">breathingspace.scot&nbsp; <\/a>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Edinburgh Crisis Centre<\/strong> 0808 801 0414 \u2013 is a service for people who are aged 16 and over who are using or have used mental health services and live in the City of Edinburgh when they are facing a crisis. This includes people who have seen their GP, used voluntary services, and people who identify themselves as having a mental health issue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/westspace.org.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">West Space<\/a> contains self help materials, guides and resources and a directory of services based in West Lothian.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.midlothian.gov.uk\/info\/1404\/mental_health_and_addiction\/89\/mental_health_-_help_in_a_crisis\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Midlothian Mental Health and Resilience Service (MHARS)<\/a> is a free confidential helpline for Midlothian residents aged 18 and over\u00a0who experience\u00a0mental health and wellbeing distress or crisis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Samaritans<\/strong> 116 123 \u2013 telephone support service staffed by volunteers, for anyone who is struggling to cope and in distress<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>If you are in a mental health crisis and need immediate support, you can call your GP or, if they are closed, call NHS 24 on 111.
