It&#8217;s crucial to recognize and address the needs of all family members and close relationships, as involving them early in the recovery process leads to better outcomes for everyone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>LEAP offers comprehensive support and information for families from the first referral. During the patient&#8217;s assessment, family members are invited for an informal interview with a family support therapist to evaluate their support needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Families can then participate in our educational and support groups on Wednesday and Thursday evenings and are directed to community mutual-aid groups for ongoing support.
