{"id":3,"date":"2025-02-13T17:08:00","date_gmt":"2025-02-13T17:08:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/services.nhslothian.scot\/hcprofessionsresearch\/?page_id=3"},"modified":"2025-02-14T08:49:27","modified_gmt":"2025-02-14T08:49:27","slug":"home","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/services.nhslothian.scot\/hcprofessionsresearch\/","title":{"rendered":"Health and Care Professions Research"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>NHS Lothian has adopted a strategic partnership approach to developing research capacity and capability among <strong>nurses, midwives, allied health professionals, pharmacy professions, psychologists and healthcare scientists<\/strong> (NMAHPPS). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Working in partnership with six universities we have developed an <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/services.nhslothian.scot\/hcprofessionsresearch\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/47\/2022\/05\/Lothian-NMAHPPS-Research-Strategy-FINAL-Jan-2022.pdf\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/services.nhslothian.scot\/hcprofessionsresearch\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/47\/2022\/05\/Lothian-NMAHPPS-Research-Strategy-FINAL-Jan-2022.pdf\">NMAHPPS Research Strategy 2022 &#8211; 2025<\/a><\/strong> that sets out our aims, principles of working together and our strategic ambitions. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These pages provide details of various initiatives we have established to bring this strategy alive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Please read our <a href=\"https:\/\/services.nhslothian.scot\/hcprofessionsresearch\/nmahpps-research-annual-report-2023-2024\/\" data-type=\"attachment\" data-id=\"1363\">NHS Lothian NMAHP &amp; Pharmacy Research Annual Review 2023-2024<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>NHS Lothian values supporting nurses, midwives, allied health professionals, pharmacists, psychologists and healthcare scientists to access research training and follow a clinical academic career pathway and is something we are proud of.
