Please see the below link for a list of all Injecting Equipment Provision (IEP) services and locations throughout Edinburgh and the Lothians.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/services.nhslothian.scot\/harmreductionteam\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/16\/2026\/03\/ALL-IEP-Lothian-Updated-March-2026.pdf\">Location of all Lothian Injecting Equipment Provision services and locations<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Most IEP is provided at drop in and outreach services. The specialist IEP sites can also provide many other services such as blood-borne virus testing, naloxone and other support such as access to opioid substitute treatment and other support simple, minimally invasive way to screen for infections like Hepatitis C, Hepatitis B, and HIV&nbsp;using just a finger-prick sample.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>\ud83e\ude78 How it works<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A small&nbsp;<strong>pinprick<\/strong>&nbsp;is made on the finger (like a glucose test).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Drops of blood are placed onto a special&nbsp;<strong>DBS card<\/strong>&nbsp;(filter paper).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The card dries and is sent to a lab for analysis.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Order
